Dennis Denow, Irvine, California

Praise God that the work among the Karen people (Thailand) continues to grow despite significant losses in the 46-year civil unrest. Pray for the Lord's continued help and blessing.

Pray for our deaconess, Doris, who is transforming a room in her small apartment into a Smini clinicw (at her own cost). Two local doctors are willing to give of their time to treat low-income patients. Pray that the Holy Spirit will bless this ministry.

Praise God that the fourth draft of the Gokana New Testament has been completed and is now being prepared for typesetting. Pray that the Gokana people, learning to read God's Word in their own language, will receive Jesus as the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Pray for God's blessing on the church recently established in the village of Yunyoo, at the chief's invitation. More than 100 people gathered in the shade of a large tree for the opening service. Praise God also for the six assistant evangelists commissioned in Gbintiri.

Pray for our physical health and personal safety. Recently, our neighbor was robbed of his truck at gunpoint and two homes on our block were broken into. Most importantly, pray for the people of Botswana that they will grow in their faith.
